Head of Development
Vittorio Iervese is a sociologist and associate professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communication Processes at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. His research covers visual culture, intercultural communication, social participation and the relationship between images and memory. Alongside his research he teaches cultural project design and audiovisual languages.
He was president of the Festival dei Popoli in Florence, dedicated to auteur documentary cinema. He directs the LAMA laboratory at Unimore and advises producers and national and international film festivals on the development of audiovisual projects. His work also includes the creation of artistic and cultural initiatives and research projects on the digitisation and promotion of audiovisual archives.
He is involved in Indelebili Produzioni, contributing in the institutional, academic, cultural and scientific fields.
